Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist, delivering essential therapy services to middle and high school students. This contract position offers a part-time schedule—working onsite one day per week, for a total of 7.5 hours—providing valuable intervention and support to help students reach their fullest potential throughout the academic year, ending May 25, 2027.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois
  • Experience or interest in school-based practice, especially supporting adolescents
  • Strong communication and collaborative abilities
  • Enthusiasm for learning, growth, and teamwork

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct and consultative PT services to a diverse student population, tailoring interventions to individual needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans in collaboration with educational teams
  • Complete all documentation in accordance with school district and state guidelines
  • Offer expertise at IEP meetings as needed
  • Leverage available equipment, testing materials, and regional professional resources
  • Participate actively in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and purposeful process improvement initiatives
  • Engage in performance reviews and collaborative sessions with leadership
