Key Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience working with school-aged children, ideally within educational environments
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Organizational skills to efficiently manage a small caseload within limited weekly hours

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assessments and interventions for students, adhering to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Develop and implement therapy goals and strategies that support students’ educational participation
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapeutic approaches into the classroom
• Effectively document student progress, attend relevant meetings, and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Offer consultative support to staff and families to advance motor development and functional mobility
