This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist eager to work with diverse student populations across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity. The position is scheduled to run from July 27, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to create and implement individualized therapy plans, supporting students’ physical development and participation in the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license for South Carolina is required
  • Experience providing therapy services in K-12 or pediatric populations preferred
  • Skilled at managing a diverse caseload across multiple locations
  • Excellent assessment, documentation, and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, students, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in traveling/itinerant PT roles

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students at multiple onsite locations
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment goals, and implement therapy plans
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Partner with special education teams and attend IEP meetings, sharing insights to optimize student outcomes
  • Provide training, strategies, and support to school staff to facilitate student access to educational activities
  • Travel between school sites as required
