As a valued team member, you’ll provide therapy services for just 4 hours per week, supporting students during both summer school (July 7, 2026, to July 30, 2026) and the 2026-2027 school year (August 24, 2026, to June 11, 2027). Hourly compensation ranges from $60 to $65, recognizing your expertise and dedication.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of IEPs and experience developing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop targeted treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy sessions for K-8 students, addressing motor skills and functional mobility
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and progress reports
- Consult with school staff to maximize student outcomes and ensure continuity of care
- Adapt therapy strategies to the unique needs of each student
