• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain thorough documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify physical and developmental needs within educational settings
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to promote students’ motor skills, functional mobility, and independence
• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, families, and other therapists to integrate therapeutic goals into students’ daily routines
• Monitor progress, adapt interventions, and maintain clear, timely reports and documentation
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, sharing recommendations and progress updates
• Provide education and training for teachers, parents, and caregivers to support students’ ongoing development
