Physical Therapist - School Setting in Des Plaines, IL

We are hiring two dedicated Physical Therapists for contract roles with area schools near Des Plaines, IL. Current Openings:

• One 0.6 FTE Physical Therapist position covering the school year (part time)
• One full-time Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE) to cover a maternity leave for approximately 8 weeks

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Illinois
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to best practices for student progress

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services tailored to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct student assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school district requirements
• Communicate with faculty, staff, and parents as needed to support student success
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse physical abilities and needs in a school environment
