1:1 Care 1:1 Physical Therapist - School Setting in Detroit, MI

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable delivering individualized care to students with a wide range of physical needs
• Knowledge of IEP (Individualized Education Program) documentation and collaboration
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse abilities and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 physical therapy services to assigned students in accordance with their IEP goals and established care plans
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and progress

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate findings and recommendations to the multidisciplinary team
• Offer training and support to school staff and families concerning the physical needs of students
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with school and district policies
