Located near Latta and Dillon, SC, this role offers the chance to work one day per week, focusing on direct therapy services, evaluations, and IEP-related responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy required
  • Background working with children in pediatric or school environments
  • Previous experience within a school setting is essential
  • Familiarity with the EDPlan SC IEP program strongly desired
  • Strong communication and organizational skills conducive to effective IEP participation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students one day each week (approximately 27 hours per month)
  • Complete evaluations and reevaluations to support student needs and progress
  • Prepare and maintain required IEP documentation and participate actively in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student goals and outcomes
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of children within the school setting

This contract position provides a flexible schedule, allowing for balance with other commitments, and offers a competitive hourly rate between $40 and $50, depending on experience.
