In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to help students thrive, supporting those with varied abilities in achieving their movement and mobility goals during the ESY session. Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable and collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and any necessary reports
- Provide support and professional guidance to school staff regarding student needs
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to support differing student abilities
