Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation standards
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptable to diverse caseloads and school environments
- Previous school-based or contract experience a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct physical therapy services to help students achieve their educational and functional goals
- Document services and progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate therapy recommendations to the team
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and ancillary staff to support generalization of skills
- Adapt interventions and materials to suit a variety of learning needs and settings
