Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation standards
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable to diverse caseloads and school environments
  • Previous school-based or contract experience a plus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to help students achieve their educational and functional goals
  • Document services and progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate therapy recommendations to the team
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and ancillary staff to support generalization of skills
  • Adapt interventions and materials to suit a variety of learning needs and settings
