Position Overview
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based assignment during the 2026–2027 school year. The SLP will provide speech and language services to elementary-aged students while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication goals.
Position Details
- Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Assignment Dates: September 14, 2026 – December 18, 2026
- Start Date: Potentially 1 day earlier for preparation
- Student Population: Kindergarten–5th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 45 students
- School Sites: 1 campus
- Schedule: 8–9 therapy sessions per day
- Work Setting: School-based
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and support student educational planning.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $52.18 to $72.18. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
