Position Overview

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based assignment during the 2026–2027 school year. The SLP will provide speech and language services to elementary-aged students while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication goals.


Position Details

  • Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Assignment Dates: September 14, 2026 – December 18, 2026
  • Start Date: Potentially 1 day earlier for preparation
  • Student Population: Kindergarten–5th Grade
  • Caseload: Approximately 45 students
  • School Sites: 1 campus
  • Schedule: 8–9 therapy sessions per day
  • Work Setting: School-based

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support student educational planning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $52.18 to $72.18. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
