The anticipated coverage is from mid-December through mid-March, with some flexibility around the exact start and end dates. You’ll also have the chance to collaborate with the current PT for a week before and after the main coverage period to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Ohio
• Experience providing PT services to elementary school-aged students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple buildings
• Flexibility to accommodate variable start and end dates
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines
• Travel between five elementary buildings as scheduled during school hours (Monday-Friday, 7:45am-3:30pm)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress and safety
• Maintain accurate records, provide ongoing documentation, and participate in relevant meetings
• Seamlessly transition caseload with the current PT before and after the leave
