Step into a full-time contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, providing expert care and support to students in grades K-12 on a maternity leave coverage assignment. This role, set to run from September 8, 2026, through February 19 or 28, 2027, ensures consistent, high-quality therapy services for the student community near East Hanover, NJ. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric PT settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in physical therapy for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and faculty
- Comfortable providing therapy across a wide range of ages and needs (K-12)
- Ability to maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP processes
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services to support student mobility, safety, and participation in school activities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education teams, and families to promote student goals
- Document session notes and progress accurately in a timely manner
- Contribute to IEP meetings and related documentation as needed
- Adapt therapy approaches to support inclusion and accessibility in the school setting
