Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state
  • Prior experience working within a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with students, teachers, and staff
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse student population (K-12)
  • Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes
  • Work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Develop therapy interventions that enhance students' functional independence at school
  • Provide training or resources to staff and caregivers as needed
