School-Based Physical Therapist - Eastover, South Carolina

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work as a Physical Therapist across multiple K-12 school campuses in a dynamic, itinerant role. You’ll deliver personalized, onsite therapy services and collaborate with education professionals to create positive outcomes for students.

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Physical Therapy (PT) license (active status required)
• Experience providing PT services in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Strong ability to adapt between different school sites and manage an itinerant schedule
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, onsite physical therapy services to students in a K-12 setting across several school campuses
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to physical development
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student participation and achievement
• Document progress diligently and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Travel between school sites on a scheduled basis—reliable transportation required
