Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey
- Experience in healthcare and school-based PT settings preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and goals
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and classroom environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ physical and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting student mobility and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on integrating PT goals
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to promote student independence
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide data-driven recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and school regulations
- Serve as a valued resource in fostering an accessible, inclusive school community
