Physical Therapist - School Setting in Edison, NJ

What You’ll Need:

• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey
• Experience providing physical therapy in a school setting (K-12 experience preferred)
• Ability to complete all required onboarding steps in New Jersey, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprints for both agency and district compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills to travel across multiple school sites
• Comfort and professionalism participating in Zoom interviews

Your Major Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators across several schools
• Document sessions, maintain compliance, and update progress reports regularly
• Engage families in supporting student therapy needs and goals
• Adapt to the needs of a district-wide program, working with diverse student populations

Assignment Details:

• Contract position—full time, 35 hours per week
• 8:30AM-3:15PM, Monday through Friday
• Academic year placement: September 4, 2026 through June 25, 2027
• District-wide role with travel to multiple school sites
