Step into an impactful role making a difference in K-12 student’s lives as a Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time, contract opportunity involves working across multiple schools within a vibrant district, providing services to a diverse student population from kindergarten through high school. The assignment begins September 4, 2026, and continues through June 25, 2027, with a typical schedule of 8:30AM-3:15PM, totaling 35 hours each week.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable traveling between schools, adapting to different environments, and collaborating closely with educators, families, and school teams to support student achievement and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience in school settings, especially with K-12 populations, is highly valued.
  • Ability to meet all New Jersey and district onboarding requirements, including a TB test, physical examination, and fingerprint clearance.
  • Willingness to complete both Sunbelt and district fingerprinting processes.
  • Comfortable conducting a remote (Zoom) interview as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver PT services based on IEP goals to students across multiple school sites.
  • Assess students’ needs, develop intervention plans, and document progress.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and caregivers.
  • Educate school staff on implementing therapeutic strategies in classroom environments.
  • Travel between sites within the district as needed throughout the week.
