Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting
- Understanding of IEP process and ability to work collaboratively within educational teams
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and students
- Comfortable serving both in-person and homebound students
- Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling and caseload demands
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students, primarily in-person with some homebound visits as needed
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to support student growth and access to the curriculum
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and therapy standards
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
