This part-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students, working closely with a manageable caseload of 20. With a commitment of just two days per week (14 hours in total), you’ll maintain an excellent work-life balance while contributing your expertise to students both in-person and those who are homebound.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators and families
  • Ability to manage and document therapy for a diverse caseload
  • Willingness to support both in-person and homebound students

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, adapting interventions for individual student needs
  • Travel, as needed, to homebound student locations nearby
  • Assess, plan, and document student progress regularly
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ academic and functional independence
  • Provide consultative support to school staff regarding access and mobility
  • Attend relevant meetings and professional development sessions
