Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators and families
- Ability to manage and document therapy for a diverse caseload
- Willingness to support both in-person and homebound students
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, adapting interventions for individual student needs
- Travel, as needed, to homebound student locations nearby
- Assess, plan, and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ academic and functional independence
- Provide consultative support to school staff regarding access and mobility
- Attend relevant meetings and professional development sessions
