Physical Therapist - School Setting in Elgin, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois
• Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting
• Understanding of IEP process and ability to work collaboratively within educational teams
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and students
• Comfortable serving both in-person and homebound students
• Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling and caseload demands

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students, primarily in-person with some homebound visits as needed
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to support student growth and access to the curriculum
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
• Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and therapy standards
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
