Provide support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, working from July 6, 2026, to July 30, 2026. This role offers a focused schedule—Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM—across two schools conveniently located on the same campus, serving preschool through 8th grade.

Ideal candidates should have experience delivering school-based physical therapy services, ensuring students meet established IEP goals. You’ll design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate sessions and play a crucial role in tracking and reporting student progress throughout the summer term.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant therapies for preschool to middle school students
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with educational teams and families
  • Ability to manage, collect, and report student data in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support IEP goals for students through direct physical therapy services
  • Create interactive and age-appropriate physical therapy sessions for students in preschool through 8th grade
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data on student progress throughout the ESY term
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports for parents and next school year team at term’s end
