We are seeking dedicated professionals for two contract opportunities: a .6 PT position throughout the school year and a full-time PT role covering an approximately eight-week maternity leave. Both roles offer the chance to work collaboratively with educators and families to support students’ development and success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a pediatric setting
  • Ability to devise and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ physical abilities, needs, and challenges within the school environment
  • Develop and execute tailored physical therapy interventions and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and parents to integrate therapy into classroom routines
  • Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulations
  • Support students in building functional and adaptive skills for school participation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Serve multiple schools as needed, adapting support to diverse populations
