This contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Physical Therapist seeking to work district-wide across one to two schools. With a manageable caseload of 10-15 students, you’ll focus on helping individuals achieve their fullest potential in fulfilling, collaborative environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure in Illinois is required
  • Experience in educational or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
  • Strong skills in collecting and interpreting data related to student IEP goals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with IEP teams, families, and educational staff
  • Adaptable and organized, able to manage responsibilities across multiple sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the physical development and mobility needs of students, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with student IEPs
  • Collect data and track progress toward IEP objectives for each student
  • Partner with a diverse network of stakeholders, including educators, families, and fellow therapists, to provide a coordinated approach to care
  • Provide consultation and in-service support to classroom staff, empowering them to reinforce therapeutic goals throughout the school day
