Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of current PT treatment techniques and assistive technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving school schedules and caseload needs
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and ethical practice

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized care plans for students with a variety of mobility, strength, or physical challenges
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support access to the curriculum and participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and other therapists to ensure holistic student support
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
  • Educate school staff and families on adaptive strategies, safety, and equipment use
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements
