Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of current PT treatment techniques and assistive technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving school schedules and caseload needs
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and ethical practice
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized care plans for students with a variety of mobility, strength, or physical challenges
- Deliver targeted interventions to support access to the curriculum and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and other therapists to ensure holistic student support
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Educate school staff and families on adaptive strategies, safety, and equipment use
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements
