Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and current Physical Therapy (PT) license required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted physical therapy interventions to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop goals to improve students’ mobility, coordination, and participation in daily activities
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and create detailed reports for educational teams and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other therapists to support students’ academic and functional growth
  • Educate school personnel and families on mobility and adaptive equipment
  • Participate in IEP meetings to discuss progress and set future therapy goals
