Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and current Physical Therapy (PT) license required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation a plus
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted physical therapy interventions to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop goals to improve students’ mobility, coordination, and participation in daily activities
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and create detailed reports for educational teams and families
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other therapists to support students’ academic and functional growth
- Educate school personnel and families on mobility and adaptive equipment
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss progress and set future therapy goals
