Providing targeted physical therapy services two days a week in a school setting, this position supports a diverse student population with both in-person and homebound needs. The role offers a part-time contract commitment of 14 hours weekly, with potential for extension into the summer months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to 20 students’ individual needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational plans.
  • Provide services for students attending school in-person and those receiving homebound instruction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with families and school personnel.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate a dynamic school environment and student schedules.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage a modest caseload efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary school teams and families.
  • Flexibility to start immediately and work within a part-time schedule.
