School-Based Physical Therapist - Everett, WA

Make a meaningful difference for students and schools in the Seattle area by providing specialized physical therapy services! This contract position offers an opportunity to make a direct impact working with grades 6th through 12th, supporting student growth and mobility within the educational setting.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality physical therapy for approximately 40 minutes per week, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff. Your expertise will help empower students to engage more fully with their academic and extracurricular pursuits.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
• Experience working with middle and high school-aged students, preferably within a school environment
• Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary duties include:

• Conducting assessments to determine students’ motor and physical development needs
• Developing individualized treatment plans and providing direct therapy sessions
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, families, and other specialists
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate, timely student records
• Consulting with teams to recommend appropriate classroom modifications
