This contract opportunity focuses on collaborating with educators and families to support 6th–12th grade students through individualized treatments and ongoing assessment, helping them achieve greater mobility and participation in school activities. The position offers a flexible 40-minutes-per-week schedule, ideal for professionals balancing multiple commitments.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Current Physical Therapy (PT) license valid in Washington State
  • Experience providing PT services in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development and documentation requirements
  • Ability to adapt interventions to students with varying physical and developmental needs
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct PT services to students in grades 6–12, based on IEP goals and evaluations
  • Conduct detailed assessments and maintain accurate therapy documentation
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to craft and review IEPs
  • Educate teachers, aides, and families about student mobility needs and accommodations
  • Monitor progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed
  • Facilitate student participation in classroom and extracurricular activities
