School-Based Physical Therapist - Everett, Washington

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
• Passion for advocacy and supporting diverse student populations
• Competency with basic technology for documentation and communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Engage actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Educate staff and families about strategies for student support and mobility
