Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting local schools as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)! This long-term substitute assignment runs from late April through the end of June, offering you the chance to make a positive impact on K-5 students as they thrive and grow. Work three days a week across two nearby sites, delivering specialized care and encouragement in a lively educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to split time between two locations within the district
  • Reliable, professional, and adaptable to changing daily needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy interventions to a K-5 student population as directed by the supervising PT
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring physical therapy services
  • Document sessions and progress in accordance with district and federal guidelines
  • Provide support, education, and resources to classroom staff and parents when needed
  • Travel between two school sites as scheduled to ensure continuity of care
