Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting local schools as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)! Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to split time between two locations within the district
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable to changing daily needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy interventions to a K-5 student population as directed by the supervising PT
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring physical therapy services
- Document sessions and progress in accordance with district and federal guidelines
- Provide support, education, and resources to classroom staff and parents when needed
- Travel between two school sites as scheduled to ensure continuity of care
