This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with K-12 learners as part of an Extended School Year (ESY) program, running now through August 19th, 2026. You’ll play an essential role assisting students Monday through Friday, 8am to 1pm, helping them achieve their fullest potential.
What you bring:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred (but motivated new grads welcome)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and maintain precise documentation
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with K-12 students across a broad spectrum of abilities
Your role will involve:
- Delivering direct physical therapy services to students according to their IEPs and established goals
- Assessing students’ needs and progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting plans as needed for optimal impact
- Collaborating with educators and family members to support students’ participation in school routines and activities
- Educating staff and parents on strategies to promote students’ continued development and success
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing your expertise to support team decisions
