School Physical Therapist | Farmington, New York

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschoolers ages 3-5 as an onsite Physical Therapist for a vibrant learning community near Farmington, NY! This contract role will cover an immediate maternity leave for a 6-week summer program, with continued support through September and October and a possible extension into November. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in New York (required)
• Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood student populations, preferably in a school setting
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic interventions
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate closely with educators and families
• Compassion, flexibility, and a passion for fostering student growth

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, onsite physical therapy services to a caseload of 25-30 preschool students
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to promote student independence and motor skill development
• Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in team meetings as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support holistic student development
• Ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every child
