Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschoolers ages 3-5 as an onsite Physical Therapist for a vibrant learning community near Farmington, NY! This contract role will cover an immediate maternity leave for a 6-week summer program, with continued support through September and October and a possible extension into November. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in New York (required)
- Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood student populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic interventions
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate closely with educators and families
- Compassion, flexibility, and a passion for fostering student growth
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, onsite physical therapy services to a caseload of 25-30 preschool students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to promote student independence and motor skill development
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in team meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support holistic student development
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every child

- Unique summer program from July 6 to August 14, followed by continued coverage from September 8 to October 31 (with a possible extension into November)
