School-Based Physical Therapist - Fayetteville, NC

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Physical Therapy license (PT)
• Experience in school-based settings; early intervention or Pre-K background highly valued
• Fingerprinting required for Pre-K student interaction
• TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) certification ideal, but not mandatory
• Confidence traveling between multiple school sites (within close proximity)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to holistic, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students’ IEP goals 
• Travel between assigned schools to serve caseloads efficiently (positive attitude toward mobility is important; mileage reimbursed)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and therapy assistants as part of a dynamic support team
• Complete all documentation and progress monitoring as required 
• Participate in Pre-K assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary teams where needed
• Attend school meetings and provide consultative support to staff

• Split assignment: ESY (Extended School Year) July 8–30, then full-time for the regular academic year starting August 13, 2026–May 28, 2027
