Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate various caseloads in a school environment
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to legal and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical therapy needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in group sessions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to support students’ overall progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant records of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide resources and education to school personnel and families for carryover and accessibility
