Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license for Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar environment preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, students, and families
- Passion for enhancing students’ mobility, independence, and success in school settings
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with physical and developmental challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
- Provide direct therapy services to students as identified by special education teams
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of evaluations, progress, and services delivered
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate and train staff or families on mobility equipment and classroom modifications as needed
