Qualifications:
- Current, active Missouri Physical Therapy license required
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Comfortable managing a PreK caseload and tailoring interventions for young children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ physical abilities and needs within the school setting
- Develop and execute individualized education program (IEP) goals related to motor skills, mobility, and physical health
- Work closely with teachers and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
- Educate families and staff on techniques to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and ongoing needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
