School Physical Therapist | Fort Myers, Florida

This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Physical Therapist with a passion for working in school settings. You'll have the chance to support students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade at various campuses throughout the district, enabling children of all ages and abilities to reach their goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing on-site physical therapy services to a diverse caseload
• Traveling to multiple school sites within the district to deliver consistent and high-quality care
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating closely with educators, families, and other related service providers to support student success
• Conducting evaluations and documenting progress as required by state and district standards
• Attending meetings and participating in IEP development as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications you’ll need:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Prior experience within a school-based setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to work with a caseload spanning Pre-K through high school-aged students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Fingerprinting and background check in compliance with Florida state requirements; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse processes a plus
