Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain one prior to assignment start
• Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices for supporting diverse learners
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a positive school culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students referred by school personnel or parents
• Develop individual treatment plans that promote enhanced mobility, access, and participation in the educational setting
• Deliver effective, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
• Document progress in accordance with district and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings to share expertise and recommendations with families and staff
• Consult and educate teachers, aides, and parents on strategies to support students’ physical and functional goals in school
• Travel between school sites as needed
