School-Based Physical Therapist - Framingham, MA

Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners by providing physical therapy services in a vibrant preschool and elementary setting. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers 30 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and tentatively running through mid-June 2027. The district values long-term partnerships and is seeking a contract professional with the potential for extension should the role not be filled internally.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist license/certification in Massachusetts
• Previous experience delivering school-based PT services is essential
• Demonstrated expertise supporting preschool and elementary-aged students
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and adapt in evolving school environments
• Completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting before start
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Credentialed candidates will be given priority consideration

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, interventions, and progress-monitoring strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff to promote student access and participation
• Document services, maintain compliance records, and attend IEP/504 meetings as needed
• Foster an inclusive and motivating therapeutic environment
