Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid and current California Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with a variety of physical challenges
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to integrate therapy into classroom routines
• Maintain accurate documentation according to state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for accommodations and services
• Stay current on best practices and advances in pediatric physical therapy
