Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active California Physical Therapy license (or eligible for licensure)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations (preferred)
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary education teams
• Organizational and time management skills to balance caseloads effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments to support students’ educational goals
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP guidelines
• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in both group and individual settings
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in physical development
• Stay current with best practices by participating in ongoing professional development
