Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Completion of a doctorate or master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, educators, and staff
  • Compassion and strong organizational abilities for individualized student support

Expectations & Core Duties:

  • Administer clinical and comprehensive skills assessments, utilizing age-appropriate and evidence-based models for children in preschool through high school
  • Develop and implement effective, customized treatment plans for students with varying physical abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with educators and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and daily routines
  • Provide guidance and education to families and school staff on student progress and ongoing support strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and district policies
