School Physical Therapist | Frewsburg, New York

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in New York State
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric environments preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy for students with a variety of needs

• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Commitment to supporting student engagement and success

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and develop individualized physical therapy programs to address their specific needs
• Work directly with students during scheduled sessions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and independence
• Collaborate closely with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
• Monitor and document student progress, updating treatment plans as needed
• Educate and provide resources to staff and families to ensure ongoing support for students
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to help shape students’ educational experiences
