School-Based Physical Therapist - Galt, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current Physical Therapy license in California
• Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based settings
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans

• Commitment to following school guidelines and individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs for physical therapy services
• Develop and implement targeted therapeutic interventions within the school setting
• Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and functional goals
• Educate and train staff or caregivers on appropriate techniques to assist students
• Support students in achieving independence and participation in school activities
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to school-based physical therapy
