Embark on a rewarding contract role providing essential physical therapy services to preschool-aged students in a dynamic educational environment. Located near Geneva, NY, this full-time, onsite opportunity requires a skilled Physical Therapist ready to make a meaningful impact over two distinct periods: a 6-week Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 6, 2026, through August 14, 2026, and then into the New School Year (NSY) from September 8, 2026, through October 31, 2026, with potential extension into November.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings, particularly working with preschool-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Capacity to effectively manage a caseload of 25–30 students ages 3–5
  • Ability to work onsite and within a multidisciplinary education team

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy services to preschool students under Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement therapy strategies aimed at improving students’ mobility, coordination, and functional independence
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support each child’s unique therapeutic goals
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes
  • Adapt interventions as needed based on ongoing assessments and team input
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on student support plans
