Step into a rewarding contract position supporting the educational journey of elementary-age students as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Set in a collaborative school environment, you’ll provide dedicated care to a small caseload of 3 students ranging from Kindergarten through 6th grade, helping them thrive throughout the academic year. The role begins in August 2026 and offers flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment and the opportunity for up to five hours weekly—perfect for professionals seeking meaningful, manageable work.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Experience delivering therapy services in school settings preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy principles and best practices
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to develop and adapt individualized intervention plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy or assistant services to three elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student IEP goals
  • Document therapy sessions and progress toward defined outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
  • Adjust interventions to maximize student participation in school activities
  • Maintain compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
