School-Based Physical Therapist - Gilroy, California

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong assessment, therapy planning, and intervention skills
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
• Comfortable adapting to a range of environments and working with varied student needs
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to inclusion and to fostering student success

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and required documentation for compliance
• Educate staff and families on physical therapy’s role in the educational setting
• Participate in meetings and trainings as required by the school district
• Travel between schools, providing expertise and continuity of care
