This flexible role spans from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a consistent four-day workweek totaling 30 hours per week. You’ll enjoy the variety of spending two days each week in Albuquerque and two days in Santa Fe, supporting students across diverse educational settings and communities.
Ideal Background & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with school-based therapy models and IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload independently and efficiently
- Dedication to fostering inclusion, access, and exceptional care for students of varying abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Conducting thorough physical therapy assessments for PreK and Elementary students
- Developing, documenting, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct therapy services in accordance with educational goals
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing insights for IEP development
- Collaborating with teachers, aides, and family members to maximize student progress
- Monitoring outcomes and adjusting strategies to ensure student success
