Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapting therapeutic plans accordingly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to design activities that motivate and engage students of varying abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs and goals in alignment with each student’s IEP
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective therapy interventions to support student participation and independence
• Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as an active team member
• Consult with educators, caregivers, and staff to integrate therapy strategies into daily classroom routines
• Offer in-service training or support as needed to assist staff in implementing accommodations or mobility programs
