Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Louisiana
- Experience or training in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting, particularly with early intervention
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents
- Compassionate approach when working with children with diverse needs
- Ability to maintain clear documentation and comply with all local and federal requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite physical therapy services as part of the early intervention team for preschool-aged children
- Assess students’ physical development and create individualized intervention plans
- Coordinate with educators and other specialists to best support students’ academic and developmental progress
- Engage families in the therapeutic process through communication and support
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and school district policies
