Working just three days per week, you’ll be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 25 students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Indiana
- Previous experience providing PT services in school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation for K-12 students
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and ages
- Strong organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
- Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and functional achievements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accessible learning environments
- Educate staff and caregivers on techniques to encourage mobility and independence
