Physical Therapist - School Setting in Greenwood, IN

Working just three days per week, you’ll be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 25 students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Indiana
• Previous experience providing PT services in school settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation for K-12 students
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and ages
• Strong organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and functional achievements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accessible learning environments
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques to encourage mobility and independence
