School-Based Physical Therapist - Greenwood, Indiana

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist licensure (Indiana or eligible for reciprocity)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to create and adapt individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Knowledge of IEP and IDEA regulations
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ physical therapy needs utilizing various assessment tools and observational data
• Develop and implement interventions and treatment plans targeting gross motor function, balance, coordination, and participation in school activities
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other related service providers
• Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain timely records in compliance with school and district policy
• Provide recommendations for assistive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
• Serve as a resource for staff education and student advocacy within the K-12 range

Position Details:

• Contracted for the full 2026-2027 academic year
• Scheduled for three days per week, ensuring flexibility and work-life balance
