School-Based Physical Therapist - Grove City, OH

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a licensed Physical Therapist, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Located near Grove City, OH, this full-time assignment spans 35 hours per week and runs from October 12, 2026, through March 12, 2027. You'll play a vital role in providing coverage for two maternity leaves across the fall and winter, collaborating with dedicated educational teams and making a meaningful impact in a vibrant school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with adapting activities and equipment for diverse student abilities
• Passion for promoting mobility, access, and functional independence for children and adolescents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12th grade students according to IEPs and 504 plans
• Assess, document, and monitor student progress in alignment with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support educational goals
• Consult on physical access, mobility, and adaptive solutions within the school setting
• Maintain thorough and timely records of interventions and progress reports
• Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and IEP conferences as needed
