School Physical Therapist | Hamburg, New York

A physical therapist with experience in school and healthcare settings is needed for a contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is based in Hamburg, NY, serving a school environment with a focus on supporting student physical therapy needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing physical therapy evaluations and treatments tailored to student requirements.
• Collaborating with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress while adhering to regulatory and school district guidelines.
• Assisting with mobility, strength, and functional skill development to enhance students’ participation in school activities.
• Participating in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning as needed.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) eligible to practice in New York State.
• Experience working in schools and healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to maintain compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.

Location: Contract role based in Hamburg, NY, with work primarily conducted within the school setting. Additional duties may occasionally require travel within the surrounding area, including Jamestown, NY.
