School Physical Therapist | Hamburg, New York

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity from November to February, providing physical therapy services in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time role, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., primarily serves elementary school students, with occasional support needed for middle and high school students—all facilities are conveniently within a mile of each other.

Candidates with a strong background in school-based PT will thrive in this hands-on setting, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students achieve their physical best.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Prior experience in school-based settings or pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with IEPs and creating therapy plans for diverse student needs
• Ability to transition smoothly between elementary, middle, and high school caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, mostly at the elementary level
• Assess students’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate with teachers, families, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into daily school life
• Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
• Deliver support services at middle and high schools as needed, all within a short commute
